Bonversations | Ep #55 | Negentropic (20-Oct-2024)

Did the so-called ‘truth movement’ ever really stand a chance?

Is it worth telling friends and family that the TV is lying to them?

Would your food be more nutritious if you simply didn’t cook it?

Uncertainty is more certain than certainty.

Doubt is not a pleasant condition but certainty is absurd (Voltaire) – including the certainty that certainty is absurd – therefore some things you can be certain about. Moderation in all things – including moderation (the meaning of moderation cannot even be known until the meaning of excess is understood if not in yourself then as evidence through others, and if these did not exist you’d have to experiment on yourself).

It’s curious that the word WISE is the same as VICE phonetically but spelled with the V doubled into a W, that is two vices equal a Wise, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Also the C is now snaked backwards into an S – as forwards, so backwards, as above – so below – the C-onception has become S-nakelike and flexible. Also notice vice has a snakelike sssss sound while wise has bee-buzz ‘zzzz’ ‘s’ sound, so in the Wise man the snake has been tamed – also W is the first letter of Why What Where When, the questions that need to be answered first before we get to the How of things. Therefore when you ask for add-vice you seek a wise man experienced in “vice” who will hopefully show you how to add “vice” in your life in a way that it becomes “wise” or no longer really a vice due to its balance with all other aspects of your life, the salt is just the right amount in the recipe for spice and no more. Hence why Vices are Not Crimes and can never be – since vices are how people learn their limits and are different for each individual depending on circumstances.
