Bonversations | Ep #44 | Armunn Righ (14-Mar-2024)

Is there really an evil cabal running the world from behind closed doors?

What’s the best explanation for the ridiculous ‘coincidences’ surrounding 3/11 in pop culture?

Is the truth always a good thing to know, or are there situations where ignorance may be bliss?

Key point: Are we better off not knowing those BlackPills, not knowing whatever, as it varies a lot.
Are we ‘meant’ to be comfortable in this realm- or not? Is it an individual choice even?
Some people feel more and think less & vv. Some are compelled to keep on asking questions.

    A dragon, a treasure, a maiden, a swamp: Relatively speaking , depending etc etc…
Flight or fight? Whichever – and WHY?

The basis for a follow-up? These inner components of personality … are they even ‘real’?

“The fight-or-flight or the fight-flight-freeze-or-fawn[1] (also called hyperarousal or the acute stress response) is a physiological reaction that occurs in response to a perceived harmful event, attack, or threat to survival.[2]

It was first described by Walter Bradford Cannon.[a][3]

Thank you for your comment Edwin!

My observation leads me to conclude that even though those personalities (masks/personas) are merely mind constructs, they do tend to behave as biological and organic entities, especially if the ego has identified with them (for ex: I am a scientist, I am strong, I am etc). These personalities are, therefore, attached to a certain script role that emerged from the context. For instance, one starts a new job that requires different social skills, so a persona may emerge (if the ego allows it, depending on the relationship and attachment to the previous persona) that is more connected to those needed traits. The attachment or identification of the ego with the persona or character is explored a bit more in the video Character Automatism (https://youtu.be/1-raD55bx8o) among other videos on my channel.

Regarding nature, it has all the signs of it being a sort of amoral stage, which, to me, means that it is exactly a place to play out scenarios that allow Essential beings to know themselves from limited points of view. Yes, the prey is better off knowing that the predator is around, on one hand, but also it must be able to let go of the threat mode and observe again. This is where the controllers or whatever you want to call them have been focusing on: by maintaining a constant threat in perception, they are able to steer away the attention from inner contemplation of “knowing oneself” in relation to the given external context, towards the actual external reality as a literal arena and the only place of existence.

      Kind Regards!

enjoyed the predation analogy toward the end. indeed, whether any apex creature is simply acting out its ‘nature’ – is it not better for the prey to ‘know’ it has an existential threat?

likewise, the show runners here could be pranksters, jokesters…do some good things for their livestock. but that obviously doesn’t mean that they cannot, will not or do not shear and slaughter for their own purposes.

*would be cool if there was a code snippet on the right side that showed recent comments. with more and more episodes it’s harder to tell who may have added comments on prior shows.

Apologies, I misread and thought the two comments were from Edwin so I sort of addressed your question in the reply to his comment (which I can’t edit), but I’ll repost it here:

Yes, the only real external reality is the one that physically hurts you and kills you if you don’t recognize, obey and mitigate it, that which when you no longer believe in it, does not go away as the Phillip K. Dick quote goes. These are all just variations on the fire that warms vs. the fire that burns & knowledge of all the degrees in between, etc., the limits within which control is achieved with regard to each instance of encountered natural phenomena. A human trying to fly by flapping his arms like wings and jumping off a cliff, unmitigated, will seriously hurt and/or kill himself, yet mitigated with “science” and “invention,” a hang-glider or a parachute, he survives, After that the big question is: how many external realities have to be successfully mitigated before “immortality” or the non-mortal creeps in on the mortal? Also how can the same people be very far mitigated on some areas (usually physical) and completely unmitigated in others (usually psychic).

All the rest are virtual constructions in people’s heads based on premises and ideas they’ve accepted unchecked, in other words false (falls) mitigations or conceptual subversions (de-ceptions) that have been smuggled into psyches usually during times of high emotional agitation or fear. This is true even for very advanced “truthers.” If made afraid for their lives or the lives of their loved ones, they will still put their trust in establishment authorities such as the medical, that way if what they fear or something bad happens, they don’t have to take the blame. They will make deals with the devil for that mental comfort or “conscience” insurance.

After a while, a memory of events forms and a “right” or “wrong,” “winning” or “losing” reaction to situations in the past and then a judgement on oneself based on (mostly) instilled, unchecked, smuggled beliefs and this forms the ego, a utilitarian content within consciousness which is mistaken for consciousness. So, depending on the levels of self-deception, you might have arrogant idiots with ridiculously inflated big egos and much more intelligent people with less ridiculous but still false low self-esteem and self-hatred. Like Rajneesh used to say: “Unless you have understood that you are not the ego, you will not be able to accept the new . . . Memory is a content in consciousness, you are consciousness itself.” https://iili.io/JXFLRRa.jpg

Also, being alone, by itself, is a deeply fearful thing for most people and yet you cannot truly think and contemplate things unless you are comfortable being alone (turning off the MSM is the first step towards being left alone to think correctly, check one’s premises, but other distractions have to be turned off as well, and there is little if any external reward for all this, only within oneself and even that takes some development). So again, like Rajneesh used to say “Whenever you are alone – a deep fear – because suddenly the false starts disappearing” and you have to do “something” about that fear, take any action except that of contemplating the real, since action and distr-action will once again distance you from the real and keep the false (your falls, your miss -ery and yet your comfort zone simultaneously) engaged. https://iili.io/JXFLAHg.jpg https://iili.io/JXKzpv1.png https://iili.io/JXKzb3B.jpg

Thank you for the extensive comment, Negentropic!

Firstly, I would like to say that there are no “mitigations” possible for immortality, EVEN THOUGH that is indeed a burning desire for the shadow selves. The nature of reality is built around finality, that is, inevitable perishability – this is why any iteration of gods of time are always up high in any pantheon, religious or mystical thought. All that is built here are, in time, but sand castles just waiting for the sea wave to reach them and dissolve them. All that can be done is to delay the inevitable. Now, I will also state that, in my view, the source of this immortality desire on the part of the shadow selves is the principle that generated them: to be acknowledged, that is, for the message that they ARE to be read and accepted by the self that cast them out through rejection. A concrete example of this, to use the same example that I mentioned in the Bonversation, is if some self does not admit that the potential for lying resides in them, and therefore rejects that part of itself, the shadow generated as a consequence has, as its natural urge, the desire to be accepted by the self, to be seen as a part of it, hence persecuting and attacking the self to force it to accept “yes, I can lie, because I self-deceive. You, shadow, are also a part of me, of my potential” – this integrates that shadow and it stops attacking the self, because that part will then be working FOR the self and no longer AGAINST it, that is, it is no longer rejected.

«All the rest are virtual constructions in people’s heads based on premises and ideas they’ve accepted unchecked, in other words false (falls) mitigations or conceptual subversions (de-ceptions) that have been smuggled into psyches usually during times of high emotional agitation or fear. This is true even for very advanced “truthers.” If made afraid for their lives or the lives of their loved ones, they will still put their trust in establishment authorities such as the medical, that way if what they fear or something bad happens, they don’t have to take the blame. They will make deals with the devil for that mental comfort or “conscience” insurance.» – absolutely, I have stated elsewhere a few times that, in my observation, a significant number of “truthers” actually are only upset that they are not part of the elite group they feel they belong to OR that their group should be the one occupying that social power seat.

“Also, being alone, by itself, is a deeply fearful thing for most people and yet you cannot truly think and contemplate things unless you are comfortable being alone (turning off the MSM is the first step towards being left alone to think correctly, check one’s premises, but other distractions have to be turned off as well, and there is little if any external reward for all this, only within oneself and even that takes some development).” – again, absolutely: that is the confrontation with the internal “demon”, which means, with the rejected potential that has gone haywire and is attacking the self-image that rejected it, trying to get the self-image to accept it. Pretending the potential isn’t part of oneself does not resolve it, only honest self-acceptance does.

Thank you again and kind regards!

This is where a paradox is reached and the future so-called integrated “truth” arrives in the form of a nugget or snapshot of a paradox and contradictory situation that when finally resolved leads to another higher level similar paradox down the line, so what was the point of resolving it by a “spiritual equation” in the first place?

For example: No true and false, no real “morality” or right or wrong and yet in the material world, the amoral and immoral or those who are experts at falsifying reality and being hypocrites and tricking others acquire the most power, they command the most material and psychological resources (of deception vs. conception). Therefore that material power, acquired in that way, though reality allows it, becomes extremely harmful, yet it is allowed as victory against the so-called “honest” people. I don’t mean just the mass religions which are old PsyOps themselves to set people up to be taken but even any true “long term” right and wrong rules of behavior based on true or false one might “scientifically” arrive at for proper long term survival integrating physical and mental health, healed states.

So you “do right” and get taken advantage of and ruled (materially by scoundrels with no scruples) and you “do wrong” (become a scoundrel yourself to whatever degree, acquire some material wealth) and still get taken advantage of and ruled (nature’s revenge in the form of your spiritual misery and ugliness for having wasted human potential, whether you acknowledge it or not, sensed by every child or still uncorrupted person) – you arrive at a previously set-up Catch 22. The only answer would be a balance between the two and you can’t reach that understanding of where the balance is unless you have the scoundrel in you – the shadow not denied as you put it. This is also why artists who deny the shadow are usually the mediocre and superficial ones. What a famous actor said about the attributes of a great actor (in all senses, on the world stage) applies here: https://iili.io/JjkL8Ft.jpg

Thank You, Negentropic, for your observations.

I agree with what you present and the conclusion: that it is the balancing out and integration of both and not the denial of any of the sides that is the “answer” and, I dare say, the “purpose”.

Also, what I meant by “complete mitigation of reality” in the previous post is that is the point of the arrival of the godhead or the superhuman or so-called “creator” of that lower realm where all things have not been successfully worked out, which doesn’t mean that a “death” (debt or expiration death where payments come due) of some other kind may not exist for the superhuman level.

Language itself is an entirely paradoxical phenomenon. We use languages (including mathematics, the universal language of more precise measure in science) to make sense of reality and to a certain extent, on the level of basic every day utility, it works, even to the point of realizing that languages are metaphorical maps and far from the actual reality itself. We even realize through poetry that so-called non-sensical language can often have far more meaning that everyday language. So we use language to realize that language itself is extremely limited but at the same time nothing we experience directly and intuitively or supposedly “beyond language” can be communicated to others without the limitations or corruption of language.

Therefore we have to finally wonder if reality itself, as far as it applies to us humans, can even exist without the formation of metaphors through the 5 senses, the very first word an infant learns “mama,” using only the lips to enunciate, already being a combined visual and sound metaphor method of identification of the nurturing figure or 2 metaphors away from whatever is the “real” reality. Even in animals, a dog smells someone you don’t 100 yards away from your door and barks, identifying a reality, you look outside and see the person and confirm it. If sound is not available then things are pointed to, etc. Nietzsche’s “On Truth & Lie in an Extra-Moral Sense” is the seminal writing on all this https://files.catbox.moe/pkedh1.pdf – where in 8 pages he lays it all down. There Nietzsche also proposes that since the formation of language itself is essentially a metaphorical or “artistic” process, then this also explains the very deep human need for beautiful or well-balanced expressions of that process in artifice – music can have no words and yet it often symbolizes much higher than words (becoming “poetic”), poetry can have contradictory words and yet when understood can symbolize much more than straight prose (become closer to music) and so on.

    Thank you, Negentropic.

Excellent observations about language, that I agree with. And indeed, my preferred artist is Keith Jarrett, that does not sing and yet, communicates transcendentally.

The question you present about the very existence of reality without the experiencing consciousness is the very root of the Gnostic question, that Nietzsche, willingly or not, expounded upon.

I myself view reality as inextricably linked with an Essence that is metaphorically “dreaming it”, but that is just my view.

    Kind Regards!

Keith Jarrett? I really like “Bremen / Lausanne” and the entire Sun Bear Concerts. I like a lot of ECM stuff and in general the sound quality of their recordings are great. My two favorite albums on that label are Ralph Towner “Solo Concert” and Egberto Gismonti “Solo.” Gismonti also has a really fantastic piano album called “Alma.” Check it out if you haven’t heard it. Speaking of shadows, do you know “Shadow Song” from the first Supertramp album?

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SGLP42CbnM

Did your shadow ever speak to you?
And did he say that something’s wrong?
Only a figure on a lamplit wall
Never realised he cared at all
Did he stop you going on?

Yes my shadow spoke to me tonight
And made me throw my dreams away
Told a story of a twisted man
Who was playing with some foolish plan
About a girl who’d have her way

      Sometimes shadows are near
      I see things very clear
      My life unwinds
      Somewhere I’ll make my stand
      Look round at yesterday
      And change my mind

Now your shadow isn’t always there
In the light of a cloudy day
Or in circles where you hide from view
All the doubts that ever bothered you
And where people lose your name

Thank You, Negentropic! Brilliant, both Ralph Towner and Egberto Gismonti! I had never listened to that Supertramp song! Incredible and the lyrics, just wow! I added it to my channel’s Recommendations playlist.

And Keith Jarrett: yes, Bremen/Lausanne and the Sun Bear, not to mention Köln, Bregenz, Münich, Paris, the incredibly recitative Dark Intervals (recorded in Japan), Vienna, but I think my favorite of his solo piano improvisations is La Scala part 1, about which I wrote the following:

« Tears of transcendence always emerge when going through the journey of this piece. The melodic and harmonic textures at the beginning, the transformation into a voice asking for rain (11’40”), increasing, increasing… and then only whispering, as if giving up. A complaint suddenly emerges (20’13”) and goes on for a while, “why doesn’t it rain?”, no answer… Then a rhythmic almost “raindance” setting (24’30”) to call for it, interrupted with another prayer, another question “will you come, rain? I am thirsty” (31’23”). The dance, the prayer, the question… they are effective, because the finally the dissolution of it all arrives with rain pouring and soaking the soul completely (34’43”) leaving a moment of darkness (35’51) only to then flood with the joy, the bliss of the transcendent melodic and harmonic voices that bring the soul back Home (36’42) until the end.
        https://youtu.be/0_29nS4dZCE »

Yet, Jarrett’s contributions as an improviser were not limited to the piano. Check out especially “Spheres” (pipe organ) and “The book of ways” (clavichord):

        https://youtu.be/aD9a_zBjTsI?feature=shared – special attention to “Hymn of Rememberance”, 1st, 4th, 7th and 9th Movements.

Searching for “truth” or rather spiritual purity in music. Once the balance is achieved internally through the external analogs heard, then the rest tends to come more naturally. Similarly once the diet is correct (raw animal foods), the chemical imbalances from decades of eating toxic and poisoned food (all cooked foods) are slowly corrected and you naturally come to the search for true or false in order to know rite or w-rung (by Pavlov’s bell).

It’s easier when the zeitgeist seems to be on your side, like it was in the late 1960s and all through the 70s. Jarrett was a disciple of Gurdjieff. John McLaughlin was into Mahavishnuisms with Sri Chinmoy, so were Santana (Devadip) and Herbie Hancock (Mwandishi), Chick Corea and Incredible String Band were Scientologists. Plus all the Eastern philosophies merging with the West. Gary Peacock, Jarrett’s bassist was a Buddhist. Wayne Shorter was Buddhist. McLaughlin had that great Indian fusion band Shakti, then later Remember Shakti – all of which are meditative and committed to the spiritual search. I’ve listened to the Shakti albums many hundreds of times. Why? Because they put me where I want to be, in spiritual balance among intense complexity, especially rhythmic complexity which Classical European music was lacking in until Stravinsky.

Ambient music, which also started in the late 1960s and 70s with Terry Riley, Klaus Schulze and Brian Eno is along the same lines, but without requiring any undivided attention – Thomas Köner’s “Nuuk” and “La Barca” (natural city sounds mixed with studio textures), Robert Rich’s 8 hour piece “Somnium.” These works are revolutionary but you put it on in the background to keep the oppressive non-silence or artificial, alienated “silence” of the world out, since in nature there is no silence, only ambiance, even if you go into your balcony and listen to the city sounds, everything from sounds of automobiles to children playing in the schoolyard seems to be mixed in a perfectly calibrated 360 degree ambience around you.

Looks like JLB has put the Bonversations on the back-burner.

Thank you for that deep presentation that makes sense to me.

Indeed, there is a music “hidden” in the ambience be it of the natural world per se, be it also in the “artificial world” man layered on top of it. This music is an inescapable connection to Truth that dwells on even in the illusions. In fact, illusions cannot exist without Truth, in the same sense that, metaphorically, a movie cannot be projected onto a canvas without light from the projector onto a film. If the light went out, the illusion would go out. It is indeed our paths to find that “music”, that “light”, even amidst the confusion of the illusory – and as you well stated, it comes as naturally as we approach balance.

Regarding JLB, perhaps the invitations for future conversation have not yet been answered by potential guests? In any case, ask him about it directly, on Discord, for instance.

            Kind Regards!
